The Bible teaches that all people are made in God's image.  This means we were not made to be alone.  We are created for a relationship with God and for relationships with other people.  When our relationships with God or others break down we find ourselves in need of help.  If you are going through a difficult season then we would like to help you.  Here are some steps that you can take along the way:

  • Commit to Worshiping God regularly--We tend to want to withdraw in hard times. That is natural, but it is not helpful because we cut ourselves off from the resources God has for us.  God himself is a primary resource.  So commit to worshiping Him and gathering with His people.
  • Let Us Know Your Need--We have a variety of ways that we may be able to help.  Erin Owens, M.A. is on our staff as a counselor.  We also have a Divorce Care group that meets weekly.  Our Deacons are a gateway to many resources in the church and the community.   If you don't know where to begin you can contact the office by email or phone (302-737-2300).
  • Let Us Pray for You--Every Sunday morning we gather prayer requests.  These requests are distributed to the church staff and Elders.  The Elders have a special monthly prayer meeting.  We often receive people at the meeting to pray specifically for their needs.
  • Make a Connection--Connecting with a small group or ministry in the church provides another layer of support that we all need.  If you need help finding a group or would like to request prayer please contact us.
