Rev. Don Post

Don is an assistant pastor at EPC. He came on staff in August, 2017, after he and Barbara returned home from Ghana, West Africa, where they labored for almost three years working for Rafiki Foundation. Barbara and Don have five children (Jacqueline, Nathan, David, Katherine and Seth (deceased)), eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Don has a degree in Statistics from Virginia Tech (1969), a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, MS (1979), a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marshall University (1993), and completed Chaplain Basic Course (1982), Chaplain Advanced Course (1985) and Army Command and General Staff College
(1993). He served in the US Army Reserves from 1969 through 2000 retiring as a Chaplain (Major).

Don has worked as a consulting engineer building highways for six years, he has served as a pastor at Philadelphia PCA, Landrum, SC for two years, organizing pastor and pastor at Providence Reformed PCA, Barboursville, WV for ten years, pulpit supply at Pliny PCA, WV for seven years, Headmaster of Classical Christian Schools in Huntington, WV (Covenant, six years), in Delaware (Tall Oaks, thirteen years) and in Ghana (almost three years). He also served on the national board of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools for seventeen years. Barbara has been a Kindergarten teacher for many of her years since graduating from Marshall University (1973) with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

They both enjoy travel, hospitality, jazz and classical music, their grandchildren, each other and are enjoying ministry with their church family at EPC.
