Chad Barber

After graduating college at UNC-Charlotte, Chad was called to pastoral studies at RTS-Charlotte and intern at Stonebridge Charlotte (PCA) in preparation for pastoral ministry. After receiving his MDiv and finishing his pastoral internship, God surprised Chad by leading him out of full-time ministry for several years. He accepted a position at Accenture in Chicago where he became a corporate executive helping Fortune-50 companies devise business data strategies. In June 2013, God led him back into full-time ministry when he accepted a call as Pastor of Discipleship at Westminster Presbyterian (PCA) in Rock Hill, SC. In March 2020, he was called to be Senior Pastor at Evangelical Presbyterian in Newark, DE.

Chad has a passion for showing how the gospel frees us to glorify God by becoming better spouses, parents, friends, neighbors, employees, and citizens. His role is to align the worship and work of EP to her vision, values, and philosophy. He does this through preaching, teaching, counseling, and working with the officers and leaders of EP.

Chad has been married to his best friend Brooke since 2003. In their spare time, he and Brooke love playing games and exploring Delaware with their three children: Savannah (b. 2010), Luke (b. 2012), and Ryan (b. 2014). He also enjoys reading, running, basketball, rooting for the Carolina Panthers and the Chicago Bulls.
